ATLANTA—SCAD-Atlanta will host its second annual artist’s book symposium, “Variant Hues: Art, Design and Teaching with Artists’ Books.”

The event will begin on March 26. 6 p.m. This consists a lecture, ‘The Book works of Flying Fish Press,” by Julie Chen, esteemed book artist and proprietor of Flying Fish Press in Berkeley. She is also known for her famous book Full Circle, which is owned by the ACA library of SCAD.

The book will be on display the night of the lecture as will other items from the ACA Library’s renowned Artist’s Book Collection. Following the lecture, guests are invited to attend a reception with refreshments. The reception begins with an awards ceremony during which the winning entries of the Student Artist’s Book Competition will be announced. The lecture and reception are free and open to the public.
