Introduction to Finding Articles On the Visual Arts

If you are a new student starting your research on the visual arts or a returning student who needs a database refresher, then attend this workshop about finding articles on the visual arts.  We’ll discuss search strategies and features of five databases: Art Full Text/Art Retrospective, Artbibliographies Modern, Bibliography of the History of Art, JSTOR and Wilson OmniFile Fulltext Mega.  Bring your questions for sample searches. Sacred Art

In this workshop, we’ll find images of sacred art and architecture from the world’s religions. We’ll discuss resources that will help you decode these images and further your scholarly research.
