A message from Art Malloy, dean of student success:
Four SCAD students and one professor were adversely affected by the recent flooding in Atlanta. All were displaced from their homes or apartments and suffered significant property losses. Those affected have either moved in with friends and relatives or currently reside in area hotels. Art Malloy, dean of student success, asks all who are able to join our community effort to assist the students and faculty member.
Cash donations will be accepted in the Student Success Center (Student Resources). Ask for Taffey Cunnien, Room 124, who has volunteered to collect the funds. Please place your donation in a sealed envelope. Include your name, e-mail address and the amount on the outside of the envelope. Taffey will collect the funds and distribute equal amounts to each of the victims. Donations will be collected through Tuesday, Oct. 5. This is our time to make a difference.
