Andreas Kocks Exhibition:  “Momentary Suspension”

Dec. 17, 2010 – Feb. 25

Trois Gallery, SCAD Atlanta

Kocks’s show features a site-specific cut-paper installation, as well as watercolors and two-dimensional studies. The show exemplifies the frozen moments captured in his acclaimed “paperworks” that suspend dynamically from the gallery walls. Appearing as splatters of paint tossed at the wall, the imagery visually belies the artist’s careful process of sitting the piece in architectural space.
