This has been a significant year for fashion collaborations. Hats off to Revolve Clothing for partnering with Iggy Azalea, Australian hip hop/rap artist and Wilhelmina model, for their summer campaign. The e-commerce site released images to the public last week, giving young fashion lovers something new to envy in the wake of the Alexander Wang X H&M announcement. The brand took the “pretty tomboy” look that Iggy does very well and amped it up for this campaign.

When asked about Azalea’s inclusion in the campaign, Michael Mente, Founder and Co-CEO, stated in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “Iggy represents REVOLVE in both style and attitude. Our customer is risk-taking, sexy and confident, and Iggy is the perfect embodiment of that. We don’t like to play it safe, and neither does Iggy.” With Azalea’s continuing buzz over her new video, “Fancy,” and upcoming album, this collaboration was perfect mutual advertising for the rapper and for the clothing site. The collaboration was even hinted at in “Fancy.”

You can see the released images on Iggy Azalea’s Instagram, thenewclassic. All of the official photos will be on the Revolve Clothing site. The collection goes on sale May 15.
