Out to Launch to present unique reverse career fair events May 7-8
SCAD Atlanta’s annual reverse career fair event Out to Launch will be held Thursday and Friday, May 7-8. The student participants create exhibitions, and potential employers go from display to display meeting the students. This year, more than 90 students from 14 different majors will be included.

All students, faculty and staff are invited to the exhibition preview on Thursday, May 7 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the event space on the 4th floor of building C. The evening event is open to the guest employers only, and more than 300 potential employers are planning to attend.

On Friday, May 8, all students, faculty and staff are invited to the keynote presentation and panel discussions in room 256. The keynote address, from Piers Fawkes, founder and editor-in-chief of daily news site PSFK, will start at 9:45 a.m., and the panel discussion, including representatives from Wieden+Kennedy, Apple, Facebook, Instagram and more, will start at 11 a.m.

Exhibition reception to be held on Thursday, May 7
An open reception will be held on Thursday, May 7 for two SCAD Atlanta exhibitions. The reception for “Fragment,” an exhibition by M.F.A. photography student Emma Elaine Dobbs and “Before I Forget, Prije Nego Zaboravim,” by M.F.A. photography student Balša Gobović will be held at 6 p.m. in Trois Gallery. Both exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public.
