Ponce City Market is the newest eat/live/play center to surface in Atlanta, taking residence in the historic Sears building in Old Fourth Ward. With luxury apartments, known as “The Flats,” locally-owned eateries, boutique shopping and its own resident and employee shuttle bus, Ponce City Market (PCM) has everything one needs for a unique shopping experience. We wouldn’t expect anything less from Jamestown Properties, the developers of our beloved Atlantic Station. The shopping development has a mix of big-name brands such as Anthropologie, J. Crew, The Frye Company, Lululemon and Madewell as well as smaller, local boutiques. If you are looking for a new place to shop with some historical charm then here are the current shops to check out.

This shop prides itself as being the neighborhood hat shop. With quality styles for women and men packaged in signature hat boxes, these hats will make anyone feel dapper.

With a few locations in the south, this boutique is making a name for itself as one of the newly-opened shops in PCM. This boutique is home to an assortment of trendy clothes, luxe candles, niche makeup, skincare and haircare brands, as well as books and other unique trinkets. PCM employees also get a 10 percent discount, one that I have definitely put to use.

This is the first location in the south for the northeastern brand, full of jewelry, bags, clothing and a few accessories.

This Los Angeles brand is a luxury clothing essentials store for women and men. Imagine American Apparel prices without the scandalous clothing or company  problems.

This place is the ultimate outdoor clothing and sporting specialist. With tools for hiking, biking, camping, rock climbing and clothing or everything in-between. This store is for people leading an active, outdoorsy lifestyle.

This store is a lifestyle and apparel retail shop specializing in menswear. The clothing is very outdoorsy and perfect for fall, similar to Mount High Outfitters.

A few more stores set to open soon include:

A jewelry retailer, that creates eco-conscious jewelry and accessories. Their pieces have been featured in numerous magazines such as Cosmo, Women’s Wear Daily, Seventeen Magazine, Vogue Japan and more.

Founded by the former lead designer of Lululemon. This is a luxury athleisure brand for those who don’t want to look like they just came from the gym.

This is a luxury clothier that sells luxury suits, slacks, sport coats, shirts, furnishings and more.

This shop carries high-end menswear and accessories and has an in-house whiskey bar.

Once you’ve managed to rest up after finals, head over to Ponce City Market and find out what all the buzz is about.
