Kickstarter is home to thousands of crowdfunding projects for everything from the newest technology to handmade items that are more akin to the Etsy crowd. Crowdfunding is more than just asking for donations or investments, these users have to supply some type of reward to the people that are donating their coins to fund this product or service. Entrepreneurs plead their cases to everyday people in hopes that they will become small-time investors in their products. For the fashion section of the site, you can find everything from supporting potential designers fund their first fashion show and collection or the newest e-commerce business to hit the market. Check out a few of the newest fashion crowdfunding campaigns that I’ve rounded up for your viewing pleasure:

  1. The Perfect Cardigan: This simple cardigan can be worn a multitude of ways and was inspired by the needs of the city girl that experiences multiple seasons in day like the designer experienced living in San Francisco. This campaign ends very soon so check it out before it’s too late.
  2. Eros & Psyche: The Waterproof & Stain-Resistant Skirt: This skirt is literally a miracle worker. The hilarious campaign video reminded me of those infomercials where the actor couldn’t possibly be more klutzy than a drunk toddler, but with a beautiful model and a skirt that still came out unscathed. It’s water, wine and period-resistant as well as being antibacterial. Plus I’m always amazed when a skirt has pockets because that makes it actually useful to me.
  3. Follow My Eyes: With winter finally hitting Georgia head-on, no man should be without a functional, yet stylish overcoat. With one of the most official looking campaign videos I’ve ever seen for a Kickstarter project, this UK men’s outerwear brand has garnered my attention.
