On Thursday, May 19 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at SCAD FASH, there will be a members-only reception for Carolina Herreras exhibition titled ‘Refined Irreverence.’ It is curated by SCAD’s director of fashion exhibitions, Rafael Gomes.
This will be the first museum showing of Carolina Herrera’s work. She launched her first collection in 1981. Since then she is known for elegance and refinement. This collection will feature pieces from Herrera’s runway, day wear and bridal and red-carpet gowns.
