All worker bees need a little break sometime, and if your time management is on point after the hurricane hiccup and midterms being adjusted, “treat yo self” to a little R&R and good ol’ television. Not sure what to watch? Here are a few recommendations from your fellow bees on what their current indulgences are. If you’ve got suggestions of what to watch, leave a comment on the article!

“I’m watching a Spanish show on Netflix — ‘Velvet.’ It is based in the 50s and 60s and I love it because the overall composition of the show really does the time period justice. And it’s a love story, and who doesn’t love a love story?”
-Valentina Moreira, fourth-year BFA Film and Television

“I like ‘The Flash’ on Netflix because it’s lighthearted, but full of action. The Green Arrow and Jessica Jones get so dark sometimes, so ‘The Flash’ is refreshing.”
-Jennifer Ober, first-year MFA Illustration

“‘The Big Bang Theory’ is my favorite show. I love it because it never fails to make me laugh, and it makes me realize that everyone has a little Sheldon in them — through the quirks and flaws.”
-Suzi Hammond, fourth-year BFA Graphic Design

“I’ve been watching ‘Stranger Things.’ There a lot of suspense and I like how they merge children into a thriller, rather than using adults. The children are so fearless! Also, the parallel universe ‘Upside Down’ adds a lot to the show.”
-Paulomi Mukherjee, first-year BFA Animation

“Right now I’m watching ‘Sherlock.’ I had a lot of people recommend it, and I love Benedict Cumberbatch’s quirky character. I’m also loving HBO’s ‘West World.’ The opening sequence is amazing and beautiful.”
-Piya Pahwa, fourth-year BFA Animation

“I’ve been watching “Quantico” and “How to Get Away with Murder.” They give me something to look forward to when I get a break from homework — the drama, suspense, and the complexity of the characters.”
-Shanima Parker, fourth-year BFA Graphic Design

“I’m a huge Mindy Project fan, and now that her show is on Hulu it feels like the spiciness is kicked up a notch. My go to show will forever be Parks and Rec because I honestly feel in my heart that Leslie Knope should be president (and the writing is incredible). I just started This Is Us (new on NBC) and it has me on the verge of tears every episode. I think it could rival NBC’s Parenthood for sure.”
