Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta is offering discounted student tickets for $30 to see “The Color Purple,” playing Oct. 24-29 at the Fox Theatre.

This is a great chance for students to see the acclaimed tale spanning 40 years in the life of a family in rural Georgia. “The Color Purple,” based on the Pulitzer prize winning novel of the same name by Alice Walker, is a musical celebrating the healing power of love and the importance of a zest for life.

To receive the student rush discount ticket, bring a valid student ID to the Fox Theatre two hours prior to the performance. The special price is valid for all performances with a two-ticket limit per student ID. These tickets are subject to availability and will be sold from best available locations, including limited view locations.

The schedule for the performances of “The Color Purple” are Tuesday, Oct. 24 through Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28 at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 29 at 1 and 6:30 p.m.

Broadway in Atlanta is a member of the Broadway Across America network. It is the foremost presenter of first class musicals across the country, including “Chicago,” “Hairspray,” and “Finding Neverland.”
