The Connector

Dear Editor:
I appreciate that you have the “Commissions” section in The Connector. I sent my artwork to the Timeline Competition that I found in your paper and got an honorable mention.

I think that color-printing facilities should be provided here at SCAD-Atlanta at reasonable prices. It seems as if this should be one of the most obvious facilities that should be provided at an art school. Here at SCAD-Atlanta, the printing facilities are not up to standard for a school of our caliber. These are extras that would make our experience here much easier.

The Connector is informative and helpful especially for international students who really want to know more about the city and culture of Atlanta.
Abhinay Patil | First-year, Advertising Design

I would like to see more student interviews, better comics and different versions of logo designs in the paper.
Nate Dash | Third-year, Printmaking

I love the photography in the paper. I also love the section about restaurants in Atlanta and the cool places to visit.
Lauren Baptist | Second-year, Graphic Design

It would be interesting to read about current events like the election in the paper. Also, I think there should be a different design for the cover.
Bianca Gee | First-year, Animation/Photography

It would be great if The Connector can update students on student activities and clubs at SCAD-Atlanta as well as events in Atlanta. Also, advice for new students would be really helpful. Another interesting addition would be student polls.
Katy Gardner | First-year, Production Design

The Connector staff is doing a very good job. I love the coupons in the issue, and the stories are relevant. The printing and the look of the issue are appealing.
Mariska Kalmeijer | Second-year, Advertising Design

It would be interesting to see more articles about various forms of art from different countries — possibly articles even discussing facts about different cultures. It would be good to see more from other parts of the world.
Katrina Butcher | Third-year, Interior Design

I would love the paper to have articles on fashion topics. Also, The Connector should be more vibrant and colorful. But the paper covers a lot of interesting topics. Keep up the good work.
Brittany Watkins | First-year, Advertising Design

I think the stories are very interesting in the paper. The quality of printing is also good. There is a good array of topics covered. Very nice!
Kelly Peterson | Fourth-year, Advertising Design

Please include more articles that attack problems at SCAD. The look of the paper looks great. Where are all the things they promised would be here at SCAD, but aren’t?
Sean Hearn | Third-year, Graphic Design
