This Thursday, Jan. 10th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Ivy Hall Writers Series will be hosting legendary and award-winning author and screenwriter Elmore Leonard and his son Peter Leonard. Elmore Leonard has written more than 40 books including The New York Times best-sellers “Get Shorty,” “Djibouti,” “Road Dogs,” “Up in Honey’s Room,” “The Hot Kid,” “Mr. Paradise,” and “Tishomingo Blues.” Leonard’s short stories have also inspired the film “3:10 to Yuma” and FX television series “Justified”.
The Leonard’s will be speaking at SCAD Atlanta in the 4C event space. Books will be sold at the event with an optional book signing with the purchase of a book.
This event is free for SCAD students, professors and staff with a valid school ID. General public admission is $10.
