Starting Thursday, May 29, the Defoor Centre will be hosting an exhibition by two SCAD-Atlanta graduate students. The exhibition, titled “Post-Repetition: Tzaraismiosity,” features work from students Trey Burns and Eric Hancock, and will be on display until Saturday, June 7. Both artists make extended use of literary metaphors in their work, as well as employing Dadaist style appropriation, a tradition patented by author
and visual artist Tristan Tzara, the founder of Dada. The exhibition serves as graduate painting thesis
exhibition for Hancock. For more information, call (404) 253-2759.
