A math competency exam will be administered Friday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. in room 318. All students must demonstrate math competency either by successfully completing a math course or by passing the math competency exam, which covers algebra, geometry and trigonometry. Students who pass are allowed to substitute an approved science course for their math/science requirement. Students who have completed 90 hours of credit are ineligible to take the exam. Calculators (but not cell-phone calculators) are permitted. Reservations aren’t necessary, but students must present their SCAD IDs to be admitted to the exam.
