Joyce Tenneson, internationally lauded as one of the leading photographers of her generation, will be giving a lecture and book signing on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at SCAD-Atlanta. Her portraits have graced the covers of magazines such as Time, Life, Newsweek, Premiere, Esquire and The New York Times Magazine. The Lucie Awards named her Fine Art Photographer of the Year in 2005, and, in a recent poll conducted by American Photo Magazine, readers voted Tenneson among the 10 most influential women in the history of photography. She is the author of 13 books, including the best seller, “Wise Women,” which was featured in a six-part series on “The Today Show.” A book signing follows the lecture, which is free and open to the public.
