Art history professor and Academic Director Denise Smith, Ph.D, will be presenting a lecture on the history of the Atlanta landmark, Stone Mountain this Sunday, March 8, at Ivy Hall at 3 p.m. The lecture, “Stone Mountain Memorials,” will discuss how Stone Mountain was used as both a physical and visual boundary marker in its early history, and later served as a memorial ground.
