About 80 never-before-exhibited pieces of North African jewelry and 27 photographs from the late 1800s and early 1900s will be on display through May 3 at SCAD’s ACA Gallery. “Desert Jewels” showcases the North African jewelry and photography from the Xavier Guerrand-Hermès Collection. The exhibit, sponsored by Merrill Lynch and organized by the Museum for African Art, New York, is free and open to the public.
