On May 16, the Savannah College of Art and Design held the Annual SCAD Fashion Show. Fashion was abuzz in downtown Savannah and everyone — students and patrons alike — were decked out in their most dazzling outfits as they packed into the Trustee’s Theatre in downtown Savannah. After the 8 p.m. show concluded, the crowed promptly moved to the after party, held at River Club, a renovated warehouse located at 3 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., where more student work was displayed on mannequins on both levels of the venue. The Connector covered the SCAD-Atlanta students, staff, and faculty that were present at the show, as well as SCAD-Atlanta student work featured in the show and at the afterparty. Appetizers flowed as freely as the laughter from all of the students in attendance, while all the guests took their time in admiring all of the work put on display in culmination of years of hard work.
