A group of about 15 students met January 16 to pass out blankets to homeless people in Atlanta. The blankets were donated by area college students. The effort was spearheaded by SCAD student Jessica Hurst, who said she felt the need to reach out to the homeless in the metro area. Hurst used Facebook to get the information out to all of her friends.
