On October 30, “Fogle by Fogle” was introduced to invite-only guests at the Kai Lin Art gallery in Midtown Atlanta. Fashion designer Kevin Fogle is a recent graduate from SCAD Atlanta who majored in fashion design and minored in graphic design. As a fourth–year student, Fogle was awarded a sponsorship by Swarovski Crystal for his collection, which was presented at SCAD’s annual fashion gala in Savannah this year. Fogle has worked as a stylist within the fashion industry and as a backstage assistant at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.
Recently, Fogle developed his latest fashion line “Fogle by Fogle.” When asked about his inspiration, Fogle explained, “This line revolves around patterns and prints mixed with solid colors … The collection is inspired by resort wear based on relaxation and recreation.”
SCAD students modeled 20 colorful outfits down the runway. Guests admired the professional quality of the collection. Though some outfits were more formal than others, they still belonged in the “resort wear” category. The outfits were paired with outrageous accessories such as extravagant shoes, supplied by Controversy Boutique, and enormous wigs to complete the ensembles.
Fogle has many dreams for the future in the fashion industry, but explained that his ultimate goal is to “one day be a creative director for a high-end fashion label.” He believes that he has “the skills, background, experience and creative vision it takes to create something truly unique.”
