What is Club Fearless? It is a club to meet new cool, crazy people that dare each other to conquer their fears. Club Fearless was founded by former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger Scott Goodkight and co-founded by Stephanie Kusic. Their goal is to create the coolest and most extreme activity club on the planet. Kusic says, “Our mission is to have fun doing crazy stuff and conquering our fears while doing it with cool people. To become an official Club Fearless member you must make a short video of yourself successfully completing a minimum of five dares from our official 101 dares.”
On Saturday October 11, Club Fearless hosted their Day of Dares in Marietta Square. During the Day of Dares, new people who were interested in joining Club Fearless had to successfully complete five dares to become official members. The first challenge was to complete dare No. 71: Eat an entire raw habanero.
Founder Scott shows his team how it is done. He eats the entire habanero without hesitation.
The second dare was No. 4: Be blindfolded and led through an unfamiliar environment for 30 minutes. Think that is not bad? Try being led by a stranger around the rim of a fountain.
The third challenge was No. 73: Handle a snake (minimum of three feet long) for one minute or longer. Think that’s not too bad? Try holding a 40 pound python, just like these new club fearless members did.
When the new crew were done with their five dares they were officially new Fearless members and very excited to conquer some of their phobias.
