Get writing tips from Michael Martone at Ivy Hall Writers Series
Learn some tricks of the literary trade from author Michael Martone, an award-winning author of both fiction and nonfiction, Martone has written more than a dozen books including “Double-wide,” “Racing in Place,” “Unconventions” and “Michael Martone: Fictions.”
Martone will speak on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Ivy Hall, 179 Ponce de Leon Ave. For more information, email Catherine Ramsdell.

Get the help you need at CS3 support groups
Counseling and Student Support Services (CS3) offers a variety of student support groups for assistance and community with your fellow students and peers. These groups include:
• General Support Group, Fridays 11 a.m. – noon and 3-4 p.m. in room 114
This open group is designed to allow students to process general concerns related to academics, personal, family, social support and more.
• Drum Circle
Spend time making music, relieving stress and connecting with others.
• Graduate student support group
A space for graduate students to discuss the stresses specific and unique to graduate study.
• Beyond the Rainbow
A space for students who may self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, interest, questioning or other identities to talk about sexual and gender diversity.
• Transitions
A support group for international students to discuss the challenges associated with moving to a new country and experiencing a new culture.
