Exciting things are on the horizon for high-street brand H&M. The Swedish retailer is known for being a leader in fast fashion for youth culture around the world with its designer collaborations and easily-accessible styles. One of H&M’s newest ventures is surprising the fashion world by moving into the beauty section. The brand is launching its first line of beauty products from makeup to body care and hair-styling accessories. Prices will range from $2.99 to $24.99. There will be multiple ranges for the beauty line including an eco-friendly line. A more luxurious line is even in the works for the beauty snobs that wouldn’t dare part with their Sephora and Ulta finds. Overall, this news will have any budget-conscious fashionista checking out H&M stores when the line drops this fall.
But that’s not all. Last month at the Billboard Awards, Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain, announced that the brand would be collaborating with H&M for a low-end designer line. Famous models Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner wore exclusive pieces from the collection to the award show. This news comes with much grandeur and excitement seeing as the last H&M designer collection with Alexander Wang was a major success for the high-street brand. This line is slated to come out Nov. 5, making fall the best time of the year for fashion.
