Independence day brings back memories of barbeques, fireworks and a whole lot of American pride. Every shade of red, white and blue can be seen for miles, complete with flags, ribbons and banners. The weather is always scorching and Atlanta has its annual 4th of July Peachtree Road Race. As we approach 4th of July weekend, Americana-inspired attire is expected. From the obvious color choices to star or stripe patterns, your look has got to scream “American Pride.”
For my 4th of July look, I chose a matching ensemble of a red, white and blue floral printed tank with matching navy blue shorts to stay cool this holiday. I topped it off with a pair of neutral brown flat sandals because nothing says summer like an awkward foot tan. I tried to be a bit different and stray from the obvious stars and stripes with my outfit of the day.
