Lend a hand and get connected at aTVfest

Winter quarter at SCAD Atlanta can mean a lot of things, but aside from a few potential snow days, aTVfest, an event featuring panels about the insides of the entertainment industry, is one of the biggest. Just like last year, this year’s festival, being held from Feb. 4–7, is looking for volunteers.
Friday, Jan. 15 at 4:30 p.m. in the Hub was the first interest meeting for any student interested in helping out at the festival. If you were unable to attend that meeting, you’ll have another chance on Friday, Jan. 22 at 4:30 p.m. in the Hub. You’ll have to attend at least one of these meetings to be eligible so mark your calendars.
As an aTVfest volunteer, you might get the opportunity to meet with some of the panelists before audiences arrive. This is a great way to network and get advice from film and television industry professionals without having to wait in a long line of guests. It can also help you fill up your resume. Don’t let a moment like this pass you by — attend an interest meeting and get your foot in the door.
