Festival favorite Mindy Kaling will return for a screening of her Hulu series, “The Mindy Project.” The screening — to be followed by a Q&A with Kaling, co-star and writer Ike Barinholtz and the rest of the show’s writing team — takes place on Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. at SCADshow.
aTVfest 2016’s other noteworthy guests include: Michelle Monaghan and Hugh Dancy, stars of Hulu’s upcoming “The Path”; “Family Guy” executive producer and showrunner Steve Callaghan; “Bates Motel” star and writer Freddie Highmore, plus executive producer, showrunner and writer Carlton Cuse; and “Futurama” co-creator and showrunner David X. Cohen.
Also exciting are aTVfest 2016’s many screenings, which include showings of such ballyhooed primetime dramas as: AMC’s “The Walking Dead”; ABC’s “How to Get Away With Murder,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “American Crime”; FOX’s “Gotham” and “Sleepy Hollow”; NBC’s “Grimm”; and more.
Last but by no means least are the festival’s panels, which offer audiences a chance to listen in while industry heavy-hitters discuss the ins and outs of everything from visual effects and agent-client relationship management to branded content and the magic of ShondaLand.
