Special screening and Q&A with ‘Dope’ producer Mimi Valdes
Catch a special screening of “Dope,” and stay afterward for a question-and-answer session with the film’s producer, Mimi Valdes on Wednesday, March 30 at 3 p.m. at SCADshow. The film centers on Malcolm, who is surviving life in a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles while juggling college applications, academic interviews and the SAT. A chance invitation to an underground party leads him into an adventure that could allow him to go from being a geek to being dope to ultimately being himself. For more information, visit the calendar entry.
Join President Paula Wallace to celebrate the university’s top-ranked fashion and interior design programs at a rooftop picnic with live music on the sky level of the SCAD Atlanta parking garage on Friday, April 1 from noon-2 p.m.
