Art students are known for expressing themselves creatively through their outfits. Let’s meet SCAD Atlanta’s Gio Turra, a second-year advertising student.
The Connector: Where do you get your inspiration for your look?
Turra: I am inspired by music, especially 1960s-1970s rock-n-roll. Scott Holiday and Robert Plant are both influential musicians for me. I like to strike a balance between punk and professional, rebellious and neat. For example, if I have messy hair, I’ll dress in a clean, professional style. When I put on a leather jacket and dress more rock-n-roll, I’ll style my hair neat.
