SCAD Atlanta Radio invites you to a coffeehouse night
SCAD Atlanta Radio is hosting a series of coffeehouse-style performances in the Hub on Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. The event, which is free and open to all SCAD students, staff and faculty, offers an intimate gathering of music and spoken word. Join SCAD Atlanta Radio and support your student music programming and friends, or participate and share your talents.
“I really want students to come together and see just how talented some of the students here are,” said graduate motion media student Sharon Phillips, the general manager for SCAD Atlanta Radio. “You know, we’re very diverse, but only see one side of most people. So, this gives everyone a chance to perform and share their other talents such sa spoken word, music or whatever other creative skills.”
The event will feature a variety of spoken word and musical performances, including a set from student-led band, “The Twotakes.” The first 30 guests at the event will get free coffee beverages by liking SCAD Atlanta Radio on social media.
