Euphoric Emptiness by Manav Chordia

Addicted

Assuming you don’t have a name

Dearest is what I’d be calling you

Disturbed by your sensitive touch

Etched in my life with tools of love

Resting my bloodshot eyes on you

All things tinted in a hue of happy

Love isn’t a good enough high

Luckily life wasn’t worth it without it.

 Antigone: Box to Smile

Always ready to fight

Nearing the loveless end

Yearning her glorious light,

And stuck in between a bend.

All she wanted was justice,

Her only concern was the law.

Assaulting her for things untold and untrue,

Loving someone was never a crime.

Yet she was the one with a fatal flaw,

And the truth would only come with time.

Goodbye

Rarely surpassing the clouds

Against the winds unblown

Howling my breath away loud

Underneath the earth torn

Love is always worth to be proud of.

Deployed

Due to inconveniences, you die.

Although you aren’t right, I shall cry.

Nobody can, shall or will replace you.

I can’t see eye to eye, but I love you.

Everything ends. So, would we, sunshine.

Let’s cross fingers and hope you’ll be mine.

Truth

I don’t know who I am.

All I have known is that I love you,

More than I love myself I think …

The air around us always turns pink,

I wish the fact you love me is true,

Or else I might just – bam.

I wish not to, cause you’re my everything.

My reason to exist and to end,

I’d love you even after the wrecking

I just want you here to make a bend

To choose me and to love me

I’d be alright even if you say no

But do let me know

Cause in love with you, I shall always be.
