Living practically inside Piedmont Park for a full year allowed me to closely see the seasons change. The trees in one of Atlanta’s best parks proudly display the beauty of each season of the year. It is quite a sight to behold. Even the winter — while it may seem bleak — is still beautiful in the limits of Piedmont Park.
The bright orange of the fall dies suddenly, the leaves flutter to the ground and break under the feet of joggers, the wheels of strollers and the paws of pets. I wanted to capture the particular beauty of the deathly winter of Piedmont Park before vibrant nature is brought back into it.
