Residence halls close Friday
All residence halls will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, and reopen at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020. The residence life offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019; Friday, Nov. 29; Wednesday, Dec. 25; and Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020.
Battle hunger, waive late fees during ‘Food for Fines’
Help your community and yourself this holiday season by donating instead of paying. For every non-perishable food item you bring to the Library for the Atlanta Community Food Bank before Sunday, Dec. 15, the Library will waive one of your overdue book fines. SCADFILM Weekend: Contend with The Art of the Fight
Embrace the thrill of carefully choreographed fight scenes with SCADshow during this action-packed weekend, which brings Rocky, Creed, and a pair of workshops into the center of the ring. Rocky will be screened at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, there will be a Writing for Fighting workshop at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, there will be a Fight choreography demonstration at 1:30 p.m. and Creed screening at 4 p.m. RSVP via Eventbrite.
