Photoshoot destination? Check out the Krog Street tunnel
Written by Ellie Briggis.
Atlanta has been rapidly expanding for years. As the population and job hubs increase, so do the number of tourists in this beautiful city. Some of the most popular tourist locations include the World Famous Coca Cola museum, Ponce City Market and the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Recently, I took a trip to another popular location in the city of Atlanta, Krog Street.
This particular part of town was different than any other place I’ve photographed. Not only is it a historically renovated market with a variety of restaurants, but what grabbed my attention was the infamous Krog Street tunnel.
This tunnel is best known for its street art. Initially built for bicyclists and pedestrians to cross as part of the BeltLine, it has definitely become more of an attraction to tourists.

During a cloudy afternoon, I took a journey to the tunnel with a few close friends and captured some fun moments while taking in the beauty of an endless art piece that all of Atlanta can leave their mark at.
