On Thursday, Feb. 20, SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film is hosting the reception for their exhibition featuring works by Derrick Adams.
Adams’ exhibition honors the joyful spirit and legacy of the late African-American fashion designer, Patrick Kelly. With collage works and abstracted interpretation of Kelly’s work on display, this exhibition is bound to entertain.
Apart from Adams’ pieces, certain items designed by Kelly and few memorabilia are on display as well, loaned by a former model and Atlanta resident, Carol Martin.
This event is free for museum members and SCAD cardholders and open to the public with the cost of admission.
