An older man in his mid-thirties arrives back home in the middle of the night, clearly intoxicated. Once inside, the man spots a peculiar drink sitting on the counter and without hesitation takes a swig. After recovering from a violent coughing fit, strange things begin to occur within the house. The man must defend himself from the darkness that has entered his home while battling with his own sanity.
The process to film this short was a little bit challenging due to the availability of time, from the actors’ schedule to the actual filming as well. Despite this, the entire crew worked diligently to get everything done, and I could never thank them enough. I adapted fairly quickly to the equipment and luckily was able to get everything finished within the short time frame.

Although it didn’t go as smoothly as I would have liked, I’m still satisfied with the overall product and have definitely learned a lot for future reference. As my first time actually working with a lot of new equipment, I’ve found plenty of techniques that are beneficial in my filming process. I’d love to gravitate out of my comfort zone and shy away from the horror genre for a bit, so expect a variety of more upcoming projects.
