6.Vegetable Stew

As the name suggests, this stew is an easy way to get rid of hearty vegetables in your fridge. Made with simple ingredients with bold flavors, this stew becomes one of the easiest meals to create with a minimal amount of hassle, such as cutting up the vegetables which you could potentially skip, if you use frozen ones! The additives that I use in this dish are soy sauce, chilli sauce, lemon juice and a couple teaspoons of cornflour (or regular flour if you don’t have the other) to thicken up the stew. 7. Lentils

Another relatively healthy meal that can be prepped in a rice cooker would be protein-packed lentils. With the majority of the time focused on letting the lentils cook, this might be a dish that requires a little more time. One of the ways to reduce the cooking time for the lentils would be to let them soak overnight or for at least eight hours. I’ve made this dish so many times that this might be my all-time favorite, for it’s got a richness of flavor, spice and texture. This can be eaten as is, or with rice. 8. Spanish Rice

Though this might seem like a tough dish to create in a rice cooker, there are ways around it that help it come to life. With a bunch of protein from beans and flavors from the type broth the rice is cooked in, this holistic meal can be savored as a meal and frozen and thawed as required. 9. Tomato Rice 

It might be a stretch to consider this dish a viable meal, but it’s pretty good. With two ingredients and seasoning, this meal is prepared with absolute ease. I found this recipe while stumbling onto the interwebs and searching easy meals to create. It is absolutely simple and delicious! Filling your stomach with carbs and antioxidants is a job well done. 10. Oatmeal
