Winter quarter registration updates
As you plan your winter quarter course schedule, note that the university has introduced an enhanced search feature to allow all students to easily determine if a course section will be offered on-ground, in real-time virtually, or via SCAD eLearning online instruction.
In order to provide increased opportunities for students who wish to enroll in on-ground courses, you will be able to register for a maximum of two on-ground courses in winter quarter. Any additional courses must be taken virtually or through eLearning.
Utilizing the advanced search feature in the MySCAD registration channel or in the SCAD app, students may now select the following session types to filter course options to their preferred method of instruction:
- On-ground
- Virtual
- eLearning
Additionally, the specific location for each course listed has been updated so you will see the method of instruction, either on-ground, virtual, or eLearning, and the specific building and room number for on-ground courses.
Students who enroll in more than two on-ground courses will be notified that they must adjust their schedule. If changes are not made prior to the start of the quarter, their schedule will be automatically adjusted.
As the university welcomes more students back to campus next quarter, continue to refer to scad.edu/coronavirus for current health and safety policies.
