Mark your calendars for SCAD’s pre- and post-career fair shows
SCAD’s Career fair is back once again — except this time, it’s online! The CAS team has put together both pre and post-career fair events for students to join in on. These shows offer an open platform for virtual career fair attendees to gain motivation, professional advice, and engage in “real talk” discussion with the SCAD community.
Here are the dates for the shows below:
- Feb. 12. 2021| Fashion, Retail & Products, Museums – Fashion & Fine Arts
- Feb. 19. 2021 | Building Arts, Healthcare, TV & Media – Building Arts & Liberal Arts
- Feb. 26. 2021 | Animation & Game Design, Film & TV – Digital Media & Entertainment Arts
There will be a 30-minute pre-show at 11:00 a.m. ET, and will feature an engaging alumni speaker to hype up and motivate attendees as they prepare to enter the virtual career fair, while also sharing about their own journey. Following the show, there will be a 30-minute post-event show at 4:30 p.m. ET, which will allow attendees to ask open questions and gain tips on what to do after the career fair directly from a panel of alumni who have thrived in their virtual job search.
How to RSVP for the Career Fair Pre/Post Shows
1. Log onto the Job Portal | https://scad-csm.symplicity.com/students/
2. On the left side, click “Events”
3. Click “Workshops”
4. Find the Career Fair Pre/Post Show listings and click “RSVP”
RSVP for Virtual Career Fairs 2021!
1. Visit https://www.scad.edu/careerfair2021
2. Explore website and create profile on Career Fair Plus
3. Then, head to the SCAD Job Portal and click “Events”
4. Click “Career Fairs”
5. RSVP for the Career Fair(s) of your choice.
