Photo destination of the week: Atlantic Station
Atlantic Station is home to many clothing stores, restaurants and even seasonal activities. One of the most important aspects of an Atlantic Station adventure is capturing the moments of you enjoying your work-free day. However, due to its policies, Atlantic Station can be very strict on where and how you can take photos. No worries however, there is an amazing area to capture the same type of downtown aura, The Millennium Gate Museum.
The Millennium Gate museum is located on the same street as Atlantic station, but sits as a divider between the two sides of traffic. It offers great contrast for lighting and an open view of the city. However, it’s not the only alternative for great photos. Located just a few on the left side of the museum is T3 West Midtown. The dark steal structure also offers great contrast and provides recreational areas to take great images. Here are a few photos I was able to take of a local Atlanta resident, Benson, Georgous:
What’s important to note is that free parking is available at the Target behind Atlantic Station if you wish to take photos at or near these locations.
