How to clean up masked objects in Photoshop

Photoshop has become my favorite platform in the Adobe Suite ever since I began my creative journey at SCAD. The possibilities in terms of photo editing are essentially endless. One thing I regret in learning how to use this application is not having someone share their process with me when I first started. Because of that, I recorded my editing process for masking subjects through Photoshop below. The video is fairly fast, but the main tool that I used was the paintbrush after I added a vector mask to the layer I wanted to mask out.
