Atlanta offers amazing destinations for photography, but sometimes it’s easy to want to get away from taking city photos or photos in front of walls illustrating beautiful street art. Fortunately I’ve found three Museums around the Atlanta area that are geared towards turning your photoshoots into something spectacular.

1. Atlanta Selfie Museum

The Atlanta Selfie Museum offers multiple show rooms edited to fit the modern selfie world, including a washing machine, neon light signs and painted walls. They have limited capacity due to COVID-19 guidelines, however, that’ll just make your photo-adventure more fun since it won’t be disturbed by others.

2. Trap Music Museum

The Black Woman Who Helped Turn Trap Music Into A Museum

The Trap Music museum, also known as the Pink Trap museum because of the pink car located inside the facility is an Atlanta staple. Mainly due to the historical references to popular Atlanta artists, such as 2 Chainz, T.I. and more. This museum offers many corner surprises and photo opportunities. The most interesting thing is the hours. The Trap Music museum doesn’t close until 12 a.m. on Saturdays, so a last-minute photoshoot is definitely acceptable here.

3. High Museum of Art

Atlanta: November 7th at the High Museum - Network Under 40

The High Museum of Art is one of Atlanta’s most popular museums, not for just its art, but also its aesthetically pleasing interior. The museum features an array of art from all over the world including a room filled with mirrors and lights for your digital receipt and foot print. Tickets are available on their website, but every second Sunday of the month grants free entry as long as you attain your free tickets on their site.
