Premiere Pro: Masterpiece through motion
In the times of YouTube, aka the internet’s Hollywood, everybody wants to be a celebrity filmmaker. But a lot of the time, it can be confusing to figure out where you should start, let alone what platform you should use to finish. What I find most important in this journey is understanding what a good video is. From there, the possibilities are endless in what you can do to create a masterpiece through motion.
Below are some clips from a short video I directed and starred in to illustrate the feeling of being a cyclist and the aesthetics of owning an electric motorcycle.
Now, these clips are RAW files with no form of editing whatsoever. The audio is the direct audio from the camera used and the lens had no filter on it either. These scenes were shot in the walkway bridge at the Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. That being said, the amount of work it takes to filter a lot of the sections of the videos that aren’t needed, such as the original audio and the camera shaking, took a lot of work. That being said, I took the liberty of using Premiere Pro to edit all of the clips, and the result is below.
