This week, I had the opportunity to shoot with Addison Rudicile, a third-year film student near the Mercedez Benz stadium.
There are many ways to photograph a motorcycle, especially with a model. You can either shoot it while cruising, racing or doing stunts. Or when you’re just leaning on the bike with the kickstand up. However, the majority of the motorcycle photography I come across are from sport bikes, such as Kawasaki or Yamaha. While the objective is to get an extremely clean, well-lit and uninterrupted view of the motorcycle and its details, sometimes the photos are very basic.
Fortunately, after I purchased my electric motorcycle, I, Rudicile and second-year graphic design student Ilijah Simpson were able to put together a photo production for my bike that I purchased from Venom Motorsports.
Here are the results from the shoot:
Model: John Warner
The process of getting these shots was extremely fun, other than having to physically push the bike up the tunnel to shoot and re-adjust its position multiple times. Overall, the photoshoot was successful.
