Attend the KAWS PRINTS Exhibition at the High Museum
Coming soon to the High Museum is the KAWS PRINTS exhibit by one of the world’s most acclaimed artists, KAWS, also known as Brian Donnelly. According to the High Musem, “KAWS PRINTS will feature all KAWS’s editioned prints in the High’s collection, including the portfolios UPS AND DOWNS (2013), BLAME GAME (2014), NO REPLY (2015), MAN’S BEST FRIEND (2015), THE NEWS (2017), TENSION (2019) and URGE (2021), as well as single-image editions, bringing the pop art tradition of silkscreen printing — from Warhol, Lichtenstein and Haring to KAWS — full circle.”
KAWS has created many monumental sculptural installations and has had many exhibitions across the U.S., Asia and Europe. His work is known by millions globally, and this is due to him embracing “the democratic principle of making his work as accessible as possible in the tradition of American pop art through editions of multiples, toys and prints” (The High Museum.)
Date: Dec. 3, 2021 – March 27, 2022
