Visit the coolest public art spots in Atlanta with SCAD
Here in Atlanta, there are so many activities to do — especially for creatives! Now, SCAD has added yet another fun activity to check out.
According to SCAD, students are given the opportunity to “join Professor Navin Norling for a series of 3 walking tours through the Beltline Trail, Edgewood Ave., and Little Five Points.” Each tour is about two hours, and the walks are one mile each. Students will get to stop and admire the work around them, and there will also be brief Q&A’s while on the tour. Maps will be provided online for those joining virtually.
It is strongly recommended for students to wear comfortable shoes, and please do wear your mask as there will be strict social distancing.
Dates for each public art tour:
Feb 11 – Public Art Walking Tour: Edgewood Ave
Feb 18 – Public Art Walking Tour: Cabbagetown
Feb 25 – Public Art Walking Tour: Little Five Points
