Atlanta Spring 2025 Events & Happenings
Spring is the perfect time for growth and expansion. Nature expands its magic as trees start to bud, flowers bloom, and days get longer; you too can partake in this energy. There are three more quarters left in the year. Set out new goals, and take action toward old ones. Plant seeds of change and keep watering them. Little seeds can grow into something beautiful, beyond what the eye can see.
As a “City in the forest”, Atlanta is home to many allergy-triggering trees: oak, elm, and pecan to name a few. However, have you ever heard of the term “Botanical Sexism?” Some urban cities prefer to plant male trees rather than female trees for aesthetic purposes which has become another possible allergy contributor. Female trees produce fruit and seeds while male trees produce more pollen. An allergy nightmare!
“Little seeds can grow into something beautiful,
beyond what the eye can see.”
Nonetheless, not even a pollen crisis can keep my friends and I from missing out on all the art and entertainment happenings in the city. We filled our prescriptions and amended our schedules accordingly. Here is a list of activities you too can partake in this spring! Let us know which events you’ll be attending. Perhaps, if you don’t see your favorite event tell us in the comments. Tag @scadconnector on Instagram, you may find one of us there! Happy Spring!
