During my brief stay in the Provence region of the south of France last summer, I began a series of work titled Grace which focuses on the quiet moments and profound elegance displayed by flora from all around the world. Having long since been inspired by Georgia O’Keefe and many 19th century impressionist painters, I have used flowers to explore my relationship with nature and the landscapes I inhabit—in this case, Atlanta, Georgia. I hope for this series to allow viewers to reflect on what they may associate with the visual elements of each photograph.
