SCAD has contracted with Flubusters to provide seasonal flu vaccines for students, faculty and staff, Thursday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Hub. The cost for the vaccinations is $21. Payment must be made by cash or check. Credit and debit cards will not be accepted. Flubusters also accepts most health insurance plans, so you may wish to bring your insurance card with you. The vaccine will be administered by registered nurses and will not be provided to anyone who is sick.
Please note that this vaccine is for the seasonal flu, and not for the H1N1 strain (formerly referred to as “swine flu”). The H1N1 vaccine is scheduled to be available at a later date.
