Update: Memorial for former SCAD Atlanta student Ester Kim to be held Friday
A memorial service will be held at SCAD Atlanta for Ester Kim on Friday in the Welcome Center on the second floor from 7 – 9 p.m. The memorial service is being organized by SCAD student RJ Thompson and will open with a prayer by Anthony Trutman. Vice president PJ Johnson will then give the opening remarks, followed by a poem reading by Gheri Thomas. Students will then have an opportunity to share their memories of Kim during an open-floor testimonial session, followed by a video presentation featuring photographs of Kim. The final words and closing remarks will be done by RJ Thompson and Dean Art Malloy. A candle-lighting ceremony on the front lawn of SCAD Atlanta will follow the memorial, followed by a reception in the red carpet area in the Hub. Food will be provided.
